I don't understand why you say catholics are going to hell, we are Christians too aren't we? We have been Christians for two thousand years. The church has been corrupted, but you shouldn't confuse the word 'church' with the word 'religion'. Do you agree?

or A CHANGE OF ATTITUDE
We cannot stop sinning. We need Jesus to give us a NEW NATURE that DOES NOT SIN. After we have that new life we can either WALK IN THE SPIRIT or FLESH
You cannot ask people that don't have the SPIRIT to WALK IN THE SPIRIT, but to repent and receive forgiveness and new life and God's spirit will dwell in them
Confess your sin, cry out to Jesus on your knees and listen to His Word, and He'll give you faith

Repentance means to stop sinning as well as a change of mind. Here is a definition from websters 1828.3. Real penitence; sorrow or deep contrition for sin, as an offense and dishonor to God, a violation of his holy law, and the basest ingratitude towards a Being of infinite benevolence. This is called evangelical repentance, and is accompanied and followed by amendment of life. continued...

Repentance is a change of mind, or a conversion from sin to God.
Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation. 2Cor. 7. Matt. 3.
Repentance is the relinquishment of any practice, from conviction that it has offended God.
Anybody trying to say repent does not mean to stop sinning is deceived and trying to hang on to some sin. Jesus said go and sin no more, You must stop sinning and surrender your whole life to the Lord Jesus to escape hell.

Another thing, you say it is wrong to drink alcohol, I beg you to read Psalm 104: "He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate— bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread that sustains his heart." It is wrong to get drunk, not to drink alcohol, even Jesus drank wine in the last supper. I hope you listen brother. God bless you.
