I wanted to see this vid again just to see the triumphant revolutionary forces entering the city. I'm neither communist nor leftist or the like, but I can't feel less than admiration for a country that chooses its fate, freeing itself from opression. Of course they made many mistakes, but which nation didn't?
For me "Night In Shanghai" is like an electronical version of "Stairway To Heaven" - at the beginning calm, creates an atmosphere, still louder and harder, and, in the crucial moment explodes many sounds and voices. Then goes like a chinese tank and in the end it calms down again. Magnificent, it's one of the best Jarre's songs.
