Yeah, I know, it's been a while since my last video. In regards to the change in 'scenery', this is the first video in my new house (so no more Brady Bunch-blue wall background lol). But anyway this is my rendition of Metallica's "Orion" (Master of Puppets, track 7), did it as a semi-request/semi-for myself. I tried to do a split-screen thing for the guitar harmony section (3:58-5:54) but I only have windows movie maker and it wouldn't quite let me (even after looking up tutorials to install downloads in order to do it such as rehanfx, etc...which didn't work), however it did let me use the audio from that 2nd video, which is what you hear (btw, I'll be generous enough to provide tabs for that section of what I play in this video and in the unseen video for those who ask). Overall it's still the same live/raw/unaccompanied/guitar-only take as with all my videos. Anyway, hope you enjoy, and until next time (whenever that may be lol).

  • @ahenn84 very nice...\m/...!!!!!

  • @TheVampireGoga thanks very much!

  • Did you insert the audio a few seconds ahead or a few seconds earlier??

  • @Soldier1287 I think it was about a second or two earlier...it's really a trial-and-error process and something you have to check again and again because you have to try different millisecond points within those 2 seconds as well until it matches as best as possible.

  • Also, how did you put the audio from the unseen video into the video?

I'd like to do that. Like a cover of the unforgiven that has 2 guitars.

  • @Soldier1287 I used Windows movie maker, I placed the main video in the 'video' timeline bar, and I placed the 2nd video in the 'audio/music' timeline bar below it, and then synced them together (which is a pain by the way, since if you match both audios of them in the preview, they will not match in the finalized version...so you have to intentionally mismatch them in the preview by a second or two for them to match in the finalized version...it's annoying.)

  • great sound

  • Ok

  • I cannot find any video tutorials on the last guitar solo.

There are no good tabs to read as well.

  • @Soldier1287 I don't have any tabs, but I could write some (or at least how I do it anyway).
