FOLLOW THE FULL EXPERIENCE OF THE ROAD TRIP HERE

I have just arrived in Kuala Lumpur and my first impression is that the city is vertical: I am surrounded by high-rises. Kuala Lumpur feels cosmopolitan and driven, and theres a great energy here. There are also about 2 million people living in 244km2. No wonder buildings have grown upwards. The sheer density of construction here makes me even keener to know how KL can be sustainable while remaining such a high-paced, fast-growing city. I came across just the person to tell me: architect Ken Yeang has made a practice of building sustainable high-rises. He tells me all about bio-climatic design and how it was created to adapt to the spirit of cities just like this one.
