Scientific Errors in the Quran

Muslims like to believe the Quran as uncorrupted, yet its scientific blunders are many. Video proves with facts (Quranic verses) that the science in the Quran is wrong. For example the Quran says the world is flat like a carpet. To believe the Quran is the word of God is stupid. I am not trying to attack peoples beliefs here which they hold dearly, although that is unavoidable. Did Allah (Muslim God) not know the world he supposedly created is round & not flat?

I'm further adding the following errors in the Quran which are not included in this video. For this part I got some assistance from the great user/saluteKAFIRS

There are many historical blunders in the Quran. According to Sura 21:76, Noah and his family is saved from the flood, and Sura 37:77 confirms that his seed survives. But Sura 11:42-43 reports that Noahs son drowns. Sura 7:54, 10:3, 11:7 and 25:59 clearly state that God created the heavens and the earth in six days. But in Sura 41:9-12 the detailed description of the creation procedure adds up to eight days. Yusuf Ali and the concise Dictionary of Islam confirms that Zul-qarinain in the Quran is Alexander the Great. Sura 18:89-98 says Alexander the Great was a Muslim and worshipped Allah and lived to an old age. The truth is, Alexander the Great died very young and was not a Muslim. The Greek, Alexander the Great lived from 323-356 BC, BC = Before Christ. Muhammad and Islam did not come along until 610 AD (after Jesus), when Muhammad began preaching about Allah and his new religion in Mecca. This was over 900 years after Alexander the Great died. A fatal mistake in the Quran.

The now deceased sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Baz was the highest Islamic authority in Saudi Arabia in his time. In 1982 he issued a fatwa that the Earth is flat & Muslims who say otherwise go against the Quran. Are you claiming your knowledge of Islam & Quran is greater than his? LOL.

We should point out that the pagan Greek scientists of Alexandria had, many centuries before Mohammed, demonstrated mathematically that the earth was round, and came very close to giving its actual size (amazing!). So Mohammed wasn't just buying in to received wisdom; he was choosing one model over the other. And he chose wrong. (As do his followers today.)

Muhammad was a pig who wanted to control the people of Saudi Arabia with religion. Because they lived in a desert most were poor ppl with no necessities available like food,water,shelter,etc. Muhammad promised them food,water,shelter, and all the other desires of men like having sex with women. He promised them they could sleep with slave girls when they go to conquer other lands & spread pisslam.

Not sure if I can agree with the common claims of science and the Quran. In the 1st century BC, a Roman named Varro cautioned people from traveling through swamps and other unwholesome places, as there were unseen creatues that inhabited these areas, which made people sick by entering into the nose and mouth. Obviousy, he was refering to bacteria and other microorganisms.

Hell yeah, he did. It'd be hard to find a single original thing within the Quran.

Actually, I could imagine mohammed coming up with all the rape, pillage, kill, and beheading stuff.

This isn't my problem. It's the many verses of the Quran that actually says that Muslims should kill infidels and it justifies rape. It says that Heaven is a big orgy for horny men. It says that God in unjust and wrathful. I really wonder how Muslims can justify it.

Exactly. and the only changes from the original texts to the original engilsh versions of the Bible were minor grammatical changes. mainly the additions of the words 'and' and 'the'.
