@metalcoola The one for DS was pretty good. And so was S5. 3 was a great story line but not so much on gameplay...4 was getting there.

@Kitsuji But there where a lack of kobolds. Kuromimi and gengen are pure awesomeness, and ridley is just god.

That's because they brought back the old crew who made the game, or at least a huge part of it (the director for instance) and they tried to give it the same spirit. I think they managed rather well, actually.

At first I never noticed, but, hearing the two songs back to back I think there is quite a subtle difference, however, it's there and noticeable. Especially the very start of the song it seems.

I agree. The first two were flawless.
3 + 4 didn't live up to their names.
5 however changed everything. I saw a little spark of Suikoden II in number 5. I felt nostalgia for some reason :P
