Kids that reach adolescence still need to stay current on vaccinations. In fact, booster shots should be given to help protect teens against diseases like tetanus and diphtheria. Girls age 9 and older can also be vaccinated against HPV (or human papillomavirus), which causes most cases of cervical cancer and genital warts.
