@joelsito29 Your comment proves that opinions are just opinions because I personally do not think music put out in my generation has "more interesting" melody. It's unoriginal and computer generated noise, a lot of mainstream music.

You said you don't think it's good for others to criticize others musical interests but you did exactly that yourself.

i´ve got raved out. there was also really "bad" music in you times that your parents sure critisized and you loved. so if someone loves britney spears, lady gaga or so put yourself in their shoes. also new music has more interesting melody and harmony lines than old music they just been fitted with dumb lyrics.

ok im tired of the bulshiting to all modern music. first the perseption that music is good or not depends on everyone´s taste and if you are over 50 years young and you are not respecting the love of people to certain music i donpt know what to think of you. second there are some really good stuff out there now for example the new al di meola or pat metheny records and in pop the first cd of diane birch is also good so if you think that there are only bad music out there please do some research.

My Kids look at me, when my eyes are closed, when I'm singing Shame, Love Come Down , Stylistics, Spinners, L.T.D., Donna Summer, ....They think I Have lost my mind,....They say, '' Dad U Look Happy''! This is REAL MUSIC, ...These people played Instruments, and Performed,...No wardrobe malfunctions, ...None of that SHIT....I'm 50 years YOUNG,.....My Kids know I'm in My ZONE, when the '' old skool'' music , comes on!!
