@MrAndreaspower Tuition fees have been raised, with a cap of 9K annual. I'm going to bet that most courses will be priced at that. Housing and food will be roughly 700 pounds monthly. But going to Cambridge to study isn't about cost - it's about exceptional academical capability, extracurricular experience, and demonstration of genuine capability to succeed at a specific field (as tested at your interview, if you are privileged enough to earn one).

Cambridge isn't a campus university, it's a collegiate system that is fundamentally entwined in the life of the city. Students don't have to worry about traffic as they walk or cycle everywhere, and from my experience the locals are nice enough, but students have minimal contact outside the university population.
As for your comment about Cambridge not being a good university any more, that's just laughable. As in genuinely ridiculous.
