Democracy Is...

Time really flies. This stop motion/animated video was initially conceptualized and crashed produced within 2 days for the first ever Democracy Video Challenge. To my greatest surprise, this video was selected by the panel of judges to be a finalist video, representing the East Asia Pacific Region, making this experience the most memorable and exciting one.

This video challenge had exposed me to the different 'voices of democracy' from all over the world, and allowed me to gain a more in-depth understanding as to what democracy is really about, or rather what Democracy can be. From where i come from, Democracy is a notion I truly feel for. I wish for every of my video to narrate a story and to bring an important message across. In this video, I wish to capture democracy in a more positive light, showing how it can happen in our daily lives and the importance of it.

Democracy is not life. Democracy is abusing one's freedom to gain dominion over anything in this world. And therefore, less fortunate ones suffered in such conformity.

If this country (the US) were a democracy we would still be subjects of England. of course that would be fine with most as their disdain for the 1st and 2nd amendments is rampant.
