I've always believed in Anette... but DAMN!!!!

She's improved so much in such a short space of time... I wouldn't have thought it possible to improve that much so quickly :O

That is what you call talent...

Tarja on the other hand hasn't improved, but more steadily got worse...

It's a pity that 21.10.2005 at the Hartwall Areena with Tarja did not sound "Romanticide" - that would be cool!

@IDislikeCowards i know how it's done but that doesn't change the fact that a few parts of the concert are edited, for example parts of "The Siren" and "Planet Hell".... still NW was and still is an amazing band live imho

The audio is taken from the sound board, along with some audience microphones, then mixed in with the various video camera inputs in order to create a finished product. However, the audio is not "edited" in that it is the actual live performance, not some redone work. When people think of editing, they see it as a way of changing how the concert actually sounded. That is not how live concert DVDs are produced, the audio is simply that of the performance straight off the sound board.

You have it backwards. NW has gone down the toilet and sound like a bad garage band these days, whereas Tarja has released quite a few good songs and is doing her own videos. She's improving as a solo artist, while NW is stuck with old overly produced videos such as Amaranth and Bye Bye Beautiful ( a cheap shot at Tarja, which she rightfully responded to with her song "Enough").

They will never go far with Anette, they'd be better off with NO female singer than her.

@IDislikeCowards I know this comment is old but seriuosly i'm really tired of u spamming NW-vids. And are u saying that End of an Era isn't edited?? Of course it is! Pretty much all live-dvd's are. I'm not saying Tarja is bad live because... well she isn't. I was even there and i can tell that there is a diffrence, still, it was probably their best live-performance ever.

@Imyourdemons69: Yes, Tarja is like nothing without Nightwish, whilst Nightwish on the other hand IS something very BIG without her.

I really enjoy old & new Nightwish. Altough I think Nightwish already was copying theirselves while Tarja was with it (see Once)... not that they were worse, but they had gone all ways they could with Tarja. There had to be a change, and here is it - and with it Nightwish, better than ever again. Just my opinion, so don´t flame me for it or fight about it.
