it was during the internecine plundering campaigns by the maratha warriors under balaji and second bajirao, on north, central and eastern indian states, the maratha (and not all marathi) people came to the fore.
so to say that bihar and up could not build the state is ignorance.
the seeds of decay has been sown among marathis. only the wheels of time move slowly. it might take 3-4 decades, but it's going down for sure.

Idiot Rahul is saying Bihari and Upites build MH, Punjab, Haryana.
These UP Biharis couldn't build their own state. They made their states a model of stone age. How come they build other states?
They infact made the other states look like their own states, just like Bihar and UP.
Rahul you must stop talking non sense. Its the failure of congress which resulted in 26/11 and stop finding out the ethnicity in people in uniform like NSG or Army.
