In memory of Christina-Taylor Green and all the others who passed away from January 8th's tragic shootings in Tucson, AZ.

Lyrics:

All I remember was something loud
Then my world turned upside down
Warm sensation from inside
All confusion lost in brown eyes

Please don't let me slip away
I've got so much more to say
I came to this world on a cold, dark day
I'm not ready to leave, I can't go away
I've not said my peace, please let me stay

Tell my friends that I'll be fine
Just a setback, one at a time
I still feel like I can fly
I've only begun to live my life

Tell my parents I'm ok
I'll see them again, some say
Please remember me as I am today
Trying to stay eager, learning every day
Smiling through my reasons, of laying where I lay

Mom and Dad I'm getting cold
Seems my time's come before I'm old
There's one thing I'd love to know
Who on this earth could ever hurt me so

Well my name's Christina Green
And I'm not ready to believe
My life's been taken by some hidden thief
I'll love for always, my sweet family
And of my childhood traits, remember me

The kids at my school won't understand
Why I'm gone, or where I am
I've gone home to find the greater plan
I am now at peace, a victim of the day
Goodbye's are never easy...
