Well, not too bad for a first timer, I think.

I really stink trying to get some of the timings down to end the game early with Energy Rain (like several times in succession denied; you'd think I'd learn quickly). I had a good start at least with an EX burst from the get go. May as well call it a handicap kill with a five level advantage against me (L8 vs. L13).

This is more or less a test to see how this does on the upload. Still experimenting with x264, since the proper codec that Squeenix put with their video recording doesn't agree with YT for some reason. Oh well, there's always VirtualDub.

  • For any impatient people there are 100% completed saves on GameFaqs you can use. But the fun is learning as you go. Jetch is probably the best on ground melee fighter in the game, so good job keeping him in the air.

  • @strifesama Yea, I found that out real quick going against a few clones of him. That's mostly why I was trying to pull off Energy Rain so many times because I knew a direct assault on ground was asking for pain. Even then with evasion you'll get torn up just because of his range he gets with his attacks from there. In air, he's not so much of a threat so long as you're above him (that I've seen) except when he uses Ultimate Jecht Shot. Then you better get the hell out of there.

  • Nice quality. Lots of back and forth with not a whole lot going on. I guess the game is naturally like that? I skipped this game because it seemed like a glorified FF fighting game, which I'm not all that great at...

  • @MaxKnight1010101 At lesser levels, you have less techniques to use to close in on enemies. There's actually quite a bit of customization in the game if you get the appropriate levels. But yea, a lot of the tactics, that I can tell, run around evasive action and getting in shots where you can. If you're too impatient, you will get run over.

  • @xxHiryuuxx Heh, precisely why I wouldn't like to actaully play the game, I think, because when it comes to fighting and fighting-esque games I AM impatient. :P

  • @MaxKnight1010101 Ehhh, it'd be one to at least try to see how you like. It has that much approval for me. I can see how a game like this would be negative on a few people though.

It's sucked a few hours from me, at least, but you know how I am on my fighters, too. :P
