  • That's very nice but what's the point?

  • Some higher resiliency foams have unsuitably high levels of closed cells. When foam cools the entrained gasses cause the bun to shrink. This shrinkage affects both the yield as well as the physical properties of the foam. The point of Edge-Sweets foam crusher is to crush the foam thereby mechanically breaking the cells of the foam.

  • I watched the foam crusher, my day is complete!

  • each cell is like a window breaking it cool actually watching it happen in person

  • @edgesweets why dont you just pay some fat dude to lay on it for a bit?.

  • just burn it?

  • @Shane1163 They slice them like a loaf of bread to make mattresses. Look up Premier Foam in Newnan Ga.

  • what the heck do they use big chunks of foam like that for? movie stunts?? lol

  • So it pops the bubbles inside the foam. And if you didn't do that the foam would eventually shrink to a smaller size and perhaps become too hard?
