What if I cant scrub the algae off of the wall of my pool? It seems embedded into the wall, because there are little holes in the plaster. I tried scrubbing, but it wont come off? Any suggestions?

I had my pool for ten years and never encounter thi sproblem why? when closing pool for the winter make sure you put the proper chemical in the water and you will never have a problem. I have a cartridge filter that is also ten years old and is stil works great. the trick to the cartridge soak it in water overnight for it to work right.

good advice, we opened ours, it was horribly green, threw in 4 gallons of chlorine, 3 lbs of super shock, clarifier, have had filter on constantly, backwashing every 3 hours, i didnt think it would clear up within an hour, the waters a light blue, but hey, i guess it takes time, thanx again
