The u.s. is the only one who ever used nuclear weapons against other nations. And then they dare to demand that other countries should disarm themselves from nuclear weapons? The u.s. is the most cowardly and pathetic enemy ever.

When I think of the U.S., this country is the only country still doing war and invading other countries ever since WWII.
And it should not be said it but the country do whatever it takes to destroy human life if it needs a reason to enter the war.

@ruibarbosta Forget about the library. Go to the internet and type in Bataan Death March - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Read it and be sure to look at the photos. Why were we even in the war with the Japanese? It was beautiful day in 1941 at 7:53 in the morning when Japanese warplanes bombed the base in Pearl Harbour and 40 minutes later 170 of their warplanes bombed it again. You would forgive these people?
-
@ruibarbosta Go to library and read about why it was dropped.

@ruibarbosta It's very good that you have such forgiveness in your heart. The Japanese butchered millions of chinese in the 1930s and millions of other asians like the Koreans, Burmese, Filipinos. Just retribution was necessary. Japan is lucky that there weren't more atom bombs dropped to wipe out all Japanese living then. For nearly 4 decades they wage a foreign policy of aggression, intimidation, and violence on Asians. They finally met their match in the Americans. Evil begets evil.
Do people think on what the bombs really meant? Some american politicians always talk that 'oh, would be dangerous if this country had a nuclear bomb because they'd throw it on the others...'. No. Nobody has ANY reason to throw a nuclear bomb.
How can somebody possibily judge that others deserve to suffer as much as these people probably suffered, based on ANY argument? Nobody can be so sure! I'd rather forgive my enemies from anything they did to me. Honestly.

I believe this movie is actually based on the book by Ibuse Masuji - Kuroi Ame (black rain) - a classic of Japanese literature and a book not focused so much on victimhood, but, rather, on the endurance of the human spirit.
