whats the best way to catch a fecking rabbit,ive been down the golf course loads with my whippet cross and they always find a way out,im not sure if shes fast enough to catch one or not

@stephen88hox the best way would be to lamp the rabbits the dog wont have much chance if you just walk around in daylight they will be to close to the cover

the terriers are for bolting the rabbits and if you only use one lurcher you will miss out on alot of runs because sometimes 2 rabbits will bolt, i usually have one lurcher out loose watching the ditch and another on a slip, that way if a rabbit bolts on my side of the cover i can slip the whippet and if it bolts the other side the loose lurcher will get a run, this is taken from a dvd and in it you can see both lurchers retrieveing

@bry01289 the lurchers will retrive, and the brown and white bitch will bring back live rabbits on the lamp, but most digs will rag abit when they are working with terriers
