Slow Speed Diesel Engine at 670 1/min Einzylinderdieselmotor 2

Huge 3,4 Liter slow Speed Diesel Engine during show at Lammertzhof in Kaarst. This engine is from TOPLAND in India. As you can see, it is a further developement of a Lister engine.
The single cylinder engine has direct injection, 18 HP @ 750 RPM. Only.
Displacement 3,4 liters, 207 cubic inches.
Bore 155 mm, stroke 177.8 mm. Aluminum piston.
Engine weight 565 kg, 1245 lb.
Drives a 10 kW synchronous generator.
The pulley is calculated to run the engine at 670 RPM @50 Hz. The internal governor is adjusted to that speed.
Engine has thermosyphon cooling. We use a barrel with 200 liters of water . The video was taken at the beginning of the show. The temperature of the water rose during the day to 90 deg C out and 65 deg C back to the engine.

der Motor wurde auch an einer Abgasrückgewinnung betrieben: innen das Abgasrohr außen ein dickeres Rohr mit dem Wassermantel dazwischen. Im Abgasrohr Wirbelbleche um den Wärmeübergang zu erhöhen. Oben auf dem Dach nur 39 Grad Abgastemperatur.

Dieser 3,4 Liter Motor ist ein Direkteinspritzer mit Alukolben und nicht gut für PÖL geeignet. Die kleinen Lister haben Vorkammer und Stahlkolben und gehen auf Pflanzenöl.

Wenn man jetzt noch eine Abgaswärmerückgewinnung einplanen könnte wäre das ganze noch Umweltfreundlicher (Wie ich gehört habe , kann der Motor nach Vorwärmung mit Diesel mit PÖL laufen )
