It ain't about getting/having nice buildings etc, it's about how you live, taught and got em (2 Peter 2:1-3). Let this vid serve as a challenge towards discernment. True shepherds feed the flock of God and false ones fleece the flock. If you are a shady pastor taking advantage of God's people and doing wrong things with the money for self-gain.. be sure your sin will find you out. If you are church folk being duped by merchandising and feigned words wake up. Thank God he didn't say follow my mega church leaders, He said "follow Me" (and many mega church leaders are in order). We were walking in the light we had, our family was, doing our best to serve the Lord right. No biggy here.. on this occasion, we were just out shopping together doing the whole birthday thing for Stephan our son. We had a good time together showing my parents from California around the Big D months before we discovered some critical things where my wife Liney and I worked/served. Just thinking. Man, it's so important to obey Christ and lead your family to a safe local church where they have nothing to hide, where you can grow in the Word and in the grace of God. Even if a friend tells you it's a decent Christian church as one did to me.. and even if you check out their very brief Statement of Faith online, it might still be cultic (It's what they leave out. There might be a lot of very serious-error in what they believe and actually conceal from the majority), so do keep your eyes and ears open. Please don't drink the Kool-Aid! Might taste sweet at first. Remember, there are several Christ-honoring, healthy, biblical churches around for you to find. Some people have asked what the point of this video was. I didn't really have a point when I made it, but was musing out loud when editing. I made a few general comments so you would be discerning and not get burned by spiritual-abuse. Like many Christians who have visited or worked at some good and some really bad churches (and by bad churches I mean ones that put pressure on widows for money [ie., they tell them they are cursed of God if they don't tithe with the very first check they write each month like in their best selling book]), fail to teach and live according to God's Word, fail to hold to basic Bible doctrines [Essentials], fail to love people with purity or to build them up in their faith—yeah, a senior pastor shouldn't ever be flirting or touching women [multiple ladies] in inappropriate places on their legs etc when their wife is away trusting them- DUH!). At this point, rather than speak on all specifics of weirdness we saw at this so called church (that I do not recommend) or speak negatively about certain "Christian" leaders in our nation lacking godly character ..that are really not qualified at all to lead people at all (as the Bible says a shepherd should lead) or to aggressively attempting to trash any one particular money-grubbing religious organization, I would just like to offer this article ( http://www.fish4souls.org/FArtiApolo/Is%20Your%20Church%20Inbred.pdf )
which I dedicate to ordinary people like me who visit such church organizations that give a black-eye to the Gospel. God loves you and wants you to think and act biblically. Look before you leap--don't play fast and loose with the truth.

Remember Jesus Christ said: "No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit" (Lk. 6:43). And.. "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the Kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 7:19). And.. "Each tree is recognized by its own fruit" (Lk. 6:44). Be for genuine signs and wonders, but even more for integrity, godly character and the fruit of true love.

Important: every one should celebrate two birthdays and then discern all through life. If your are born once, you'll die twice. But if you are born twice, you'll die once (physically, or be raptured -- translated -- out of here in one sixth of a nanosecond, the twinkling of an eye). Jesus said, "The thief (the devil who ain't a figment of our imagination or some clown dressed in red spandex with a rubber tail) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (Jn 10:10). That's what we enjoy in simple fellowship with Him. We all must decide if we want this kind of age-abiding life -- life eternal -- that is only to be found in Him. It doesn't start when we die. It starts when we choose and obey Him and then it doesn't quit.
