Stan and Ollie are the best. Van Dyke and Calvin are second best. This is such a fascinating and hilarious tribute to the Boys; they really studied their pantomime and vocal characteristics so well. I'm reading Dick Van Dyke's autobiography, and it seems Stan was probably his number one hero. Imitation is the highest form of praise.

Wow! Just wow. Its amazing that I (at 31 years old) can sit down and watch this with my 7 year old daughter and we both can laugh at the antics. There is no genuine comedy like Laurel & Hardy (or this skit anymore). We've watch over 100 Laurel & Hardy clasics and it never get old... always good for a laugh. We even named our dog Laughing Gravy after a dog Stan owned in one episode!

@mickclews you're not kidding, he nailed that when he sat down it was perfect like there was really a chair there lol..

Just watch the moment when Dick "sits" at the table....his mastery of pantomime/body movement is superb....you can almost see the 'chair'....and Henry Calvin manages to capture some of Babe's vocal inflections too...a great clip..

@jazzy6307 The Cigarette Girl ("Alice") was played by Joan Shawlee (1926-87), who was also playing the part of "Pickles Sorrell" in that same episode.

Was the waitress Angela Lansbury?
This is 1000 x funnier than anything on today by far (maybe 100x)! LOVE IT!
