In the early hours of Sunday 16th March 2008 (the week before Easter), the partially-medieval church of St. Nicholas, the parish church of Radford Semele in Warwickshire, England, was devastated by fire. A restoration fund has been established and donations can be made to Rev Martin Green. Please give generously, send me a message to make a donation.

the bells are in good shape and being stored - they will ring again once the tower is restored :)

It is an awful sight, but it is certainly not an insurance scam. The settlement has just been agreed and progress is being made, though it will be some time before the contractors are on site again.
Sadly, an act of arson does take years to put right ...
