The two dancers are both bio-women, lead roles in the film. This fantasy scene, puts them in the 1920s. The film, Tango, is from 1998-- nominated for an Oscar. Filmed in Argentina. It samples the range of tango, has an interesting film-within-a-film plot, and references the ravages of the Argentinian "dirty war" on the country's artists and culture. The "racy" bits include this number, a male-male tango number, and a trio number.
