@Planetoxo We can choose not to pay into football though through not attending matches. We don't have that option with state taxes (and neither would I advocate that we should have the right to say where money goes but what is essentially a private function such as a wedding I would do). Also, footballer wages are paid mostly through board rooms/manager pockets from the merchandising/sponsorship deals that they receive the money from.

Paul Heaton, thank you. I left the country early on 29th April and spent a long weekend away in Sweden - thankyou ryan air. Managed to miss most of the crap but clearly paid for it in taxes. This year I am looking forward to paying for the Diamond Jubilee; next year it will be the royal baby. In the meantime my husband is unemployed and I have to move to get paid enough for us all to live. I'm having to go overseas. I have not watched one minute of this wedding.

Is it me or is Paul the only one talking sense here?. The woman whoever she is seems to be having a great time, looks well spaced out, talking shit about the wedding being some sort of product that we can sell to other countries WTF was all that bollocks about?. They wanted to get wed they should have fucking paid for it just like me or you would. Royals are no more than parasites, we should take a tip from the French, off with their heads!.
