  • @KameoKid FALSE...for one, the obvious thing here is that their movement is condensed because of the stage settting...Marlon & Michael are the ones who brought the robotic movements to the group...Jackie always did basic robotic movements because he wasn't as fast as his younger brothers & as usual, anything MJ learned, he perfected more than anyone else...example: Moonwalk..taught to him by Shalamar's Jeffrey Daniel but when MJ put his own swag to it, it became the defining move it is today

  • @KameoKid Actually... you're wrong. If you can find a clip of them doing this song from their "Live In Mexico" performance from 1975, you will see Marlon keeping up with Michael. Marlon was a VERY accomplished dancer who choreographed a large part of their routines. In this performance, you can see that the stage is small, so naturally they gave Michael room to do his thing. The only time Jackie and Marlon joined MJ is when they all lined up.

The little one on the bongos is Randy. He's not an original member of the Jackson 5 but regularly started performing with they from 1972. They never changed their name to Jackson 6 (or Jackson 5 and a half ) though.

In 1976, they left Motown and started a new group ' The Jacksons'. Randy was now an official member of the group and Jermaine (in the yellow-green-ish outfit with the bassguitar) left the group.

  • I miss the real king. He went before his time.
