i believe in the reason for being
this means i have no clue why God or the Creator made me, but I'm here for a purpose
Life is fulfilling that purpose
we are linked whether we realize this or admit to it so what we do will always affect someone else
its also why almost any commandment or law could be summed up with the Golden Rule "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
With this being said, I think the afterlife, whether it be heaven or hell is a reflection of not how we lived personally, but how we treated others.
so if you spent your whole life living lavishly without concern for who you stepped on, cheated, or mistreated to get to the top, Expect that to bite you in the ass when you die

Death is an ending,Just as birth is a beginning.The real tragedy is the separation from loved ones.The physical pain doesn't help either.I suppose it helps dissuade suicide.Without death,life would become meaningless,an immortal would be terminally bored.I think when you die,your spirit is free to be reborn,here on earth.Some of God's kingdom is easy and good,some is agonizing and in a state of sorrow.Life is a struggle,Death is a journey where you forget everything about life.
