Raining Code Effect

Although conceptually inspired by The Matrix (1999), this particular style of raining code borrows few aesthetic elements directly from the opening title of any of the films in the Matrix franchise.

Well done, what did ya use for this one?

First I made 4 - yes, only 4 - different lines of code in Photoshop, from Japanese characters. Then I took them into premiere and with a little work made them 'rain'. It was a pretty manual way to do it, but hey it turned out just how I wanted. Keep in mind it was pretty memory intensive; that final premiere project had 120+ video layers.

@leafblowinSK8 hey, thank you so much. I don't actually have any background in this sort of thing, I just started fooling around with a camera one summer and decided to go with it. I'm seriously considering making tutorials; I'll be sure to let you know if I do. :)

did you buy the full version of Adobe AE? cause i want to experiment with it, but not buy the whole version. also, another video u made (iron man's JARVIS computer) is my favorite one ^_^ could you make more like those??
