next time I order a cheeseburger I'll think about how it prevents the MASSIVE flooding of cow population, the MASSIVE increase in acoustic guitar carrying hipster, the MASSIVE protein deficiency I'd be avoiding, How the MASSIVE amount of water used for the corn that would replace the MASSIVE amount of water used for the animals would not save water, and the MASSIVE amount of hunger I would face if all I had to eat was vegetables for the rest of my life.

...There is nothing wrong with this, its not like the chickens have a sense of "hey this is wrong i should be in the open fields running around!" They were born into this and have only experienced this kind of life. This provides a legitimate and extremely cheap service, a service that much of the population, at least in the US, relies on. People can't afford all these "organic, " "free range" stuff. This also provides many jobs and keeps families from starving to death with the low prices.

Ok...lets say that humans went vegan long ago. Like say, when the settlers and Indians lived. The buffalo population wouldn't of decreased, but rather increased dramatically. Thus, there would be just as much, if not more environmental damage and space taken up by meat animals....just saying...

Animals have rights, and humans should respect that too... it's not just the environment -but of course, it's important too!
