A few answers to frequently asked questions!

1) What music did you use?

The music is called ragtime. I just did a search for it on the internet and found a website that had some.

2) Where did i get my dialogue box?

I did a google image search, then edited the picture in paint so i could have my own dialogue.

3) What application did you use?

I used windows movie maker. It's quite stright forward to put the effects on the film.

If you were going for the silent film, you completely missed the look, especially with those 3d graphics at the start. They were usually recorded at a lower frame rate, and then played back at a faster frame rate. You seemed to have dropped 4 out of 5 frames here, which makes it look like i'm watching someone's webcam. Zooming lenses werent around (or in widespread use) back when the films were popular either. Actors also didnt interact with the camera in classic silent films.

Well that's a pretty big 'if'. We were in fact having bit of fun by making a non-serious short film. I'm surprised you didn't also mention why there was a tree on the train tracks and how the train was meant to pass through it. But i shall keep your advise in case i decide to go pro one day.

A google image search is where you go on google and search for images instead of websites. Try looking under 'silent movie speech box' or something simular.
