Mohammed Rafi Academy was officially launched at Novotel Hotel, Mumbai on the 30th Death Anniversary of Rafi Sahab. Many renowned living legends and personalities from the Hindi film and music industry came to pay their glowing tributes to the legendary singer. The event was widely covered in print, electronic and web media all over the world.

mohammed rafi is also loved here in israel to he sure did managed to break religion and language barriers rafi is my favorite i will listen to his songs all my life and never get tired im noly 27 maybe i didn't have chance to meet him but i have the time to enjoy pleased to see rafi's academy launch @Aissshwarya

@Aissshwarya I agree 100%. His voice is unique. He's able to sing with such powerful emotions that'll give you goose bumps, by hearing such a heavenly voice. I'm 24 years old, and I love to listen to his timeless voice.

There should definetely be some kind of show, but without the competitive part, because it must be a tribute, celebration and recognation of a brilliant voice. Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, others and all you've mentioned should be in it.

Mohammed Rafi academy should organize a show in which all the singers who have kept Rafi sahab alive should be invited like Shabbir kumar, Mohd Aziz, Anwar and Sonu nigam to sing in it. And all should be given equal songs.
