http://www.therenegadehealthshow.com - Much of conventional medicine will tell you that there is no cure for diabetes...
Dr. Gabriel Cousens will tell you otherwise. His conservative 90% cure rate (meaning no insulin in 21 days) is shocking.
In this video he explains some of the shocking statistics on diabetes as well as his thoughts on our cultural conditioning that makes us hungry and wanting to eat more and more.
Take a look...
@Classicguy66 Right on!!! The American diabetes Association has studies paid for by Cadbury Schweppes.....can anyone spell WHORES?

@Inflamsx Even if it did work, Paleo adherents would need to abstain from the crap on the supermarket shelves and share from a private rural cooperative. Not an easy call in todays society. Even our vegetables are tainted in many ways. Bottom line - successful doctors deploy vegan diets to reverse diabetes. I have yet to see any studies claiming reversal on an animal based diet. I welcome credible evidence to the contrary. Either way, the healthiest diet would be one grown at home.

@Inflamsx More important to eliminate free processed fats and oils whether animal or vegetable origin. Both will bind insulin resulting in resistance. Worst of all are trans-fats or hydrogenated vegetable oils. To quote one researcher on ingesting trans fats, "Cell walls don't work so well when they are made by dupont". Once you fractionate foods and divorce fats from their whole food context you open pandora's box.

@Inflamsx Your diet should gbe tailored according to your health status. If you are already diabetic it is likely that your fat metabolism is impaired to some degree so it may be wise to go easy on any high fat foods. Having said that, Ross Horne (a non diabetic) successfully performed blood tests after eating a number of avacadoes to demonstrate to Nathan Pritiken no adverse blood chemistry.

@exp2kv When you eat high fat plant based foods (advocados, nuts and seeds) can you still develop diabetes?
Inflamsx 1 year ago
@Inflamsx They do develop diabetes though . I know people on the paleo diet with diabetes . The truth is the paleo diet advocates getting off refined sugar and grains , that alone will keep Most people from developing diabetes . Those who already have toxic pancrease might need at least a temporary abstinance from meat and dairy altogether .

@exp2kv What about paleo diet? They consume high amounts of fat and still dont develop diabetes

Once you eliminate the dietary causes it is only natural that the disease will reverse as the body restores normal blood chemistry and cell function. Dr. Shirley Sweeney demonstrated the real causes in 1927 when he fed his class a very high fat diet for 2 weeks, nearly all tested diabetic. Feeding them sugar for 2 weeks had little impact. Sugar only becomes a problem once the blood chemistry and cell physiology is impaired. Unfortunately we combine both in huge excess in the SAD diet.

Actually the vast majority of type 2 diabetics overproduce insulin for many many years. Lack of Insulation production only becomes a problem in late stage progression of the disease. The initial problem is that the action of insulin is being compromised by adverse blood chemistry and cell function resulting from poor dietary choices. Principally implicated is the consumption of mass produced oils and fats resulting in a radical imbalance in omega3 and omega6 fatty acids.
