Here's my first attempt at a layered groove with overlapping phrases and time signitures, plus a little fooling around at the end.

- The foot ostinato is a basic paradiddle between bass drum and hi-hat.
- The next layer shown is a rhythm in 5/16 (the left hand part of a fiveadiddle).
- Last is just straight quarter notes between a floor tom and snare drum to give the groove some backbeats.
