We take a look at the Knife Sharpeners avaialble from Benchmade. We review the; Mini Tactical Pro, Tactical Pro, and the Combo Edge Knife Sharpener Multi-Tool as well as the Harley Davidson version of the Mini Tactical Pro

Some of the nicest sharpeners we've seen, small, compact and well made. These are all easy to carry use and will last a long time

  • Can these BM field sharpeners make really good edge, enough to slice a paper?

  • yup

  • Great review, I ordered the combo one last week.

Have you used the Spyderco Sharpmaker? I don't know if it's my technique or whatever but I could only get my blades decently sharp and not razor sharp

  • Have not tried the Spyderco...yet, but we plan to

  • Are you suppose to hone your knife after you sharpen it?

  • I have the combo sharpener. Works great! keeps my Model 51 and 53 nice and clean

  • I had problems with the BM Mini Tactical Pro when I tried to use it on my BM 940; the sharpener did an outstanding job of sharpening only one side of the blade (and removing a lot of material from the same side), while completely dulling out the other side. I've spent hours trying to use a whet stone to try and fix it, but have so far been unsuccessful.

  • just wanted to point out that on these sharpeners they are directional, so you cant use them left handed. thanks great job on the vid!

  • @dudesomebody13 any of these sharpeners would do the job, i use a redi-edge which is the same basic thing as the benchmade sharpeners

  • I am trying to find a good sharpener for a 12 inch kukri made from 5160 spring steel, was wondering if you had any suggestions??

  • Are all of the Benchmade knives blade edges angled to 60?

  • Are all of the Benchmade knives blade edges angled to 60

  • Is there a course and softer side or is it just one type of texture? Also excuse my grammar, i'm not familiar with sharpening terms.

  • could u do a benchmade brag bag. no one has done it yet. thx
