  • And yet Macdonald's grandnephew became the iconic American actor Glenn Ford. Beurling became an American after the war. Sir Robert Borden's family were the New England Bordens (dairy fame and infamous Lizzie). George Brown was present at Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. Celine Dion and Madonna are cousins.

    Frankly every Canadian has an American relative.
