@bubbagumpshrimp14 The magnet tricks work good for finding excessive bondo. But when buying rides, if I see Bondo, I take off $500. If I see more than 1 foot of rust, I take off $1000. If not, I clean up the area, use rust destroyer primer after the patches go in. It's deffinately cheaper than an entire skin.

the paper is simulating if there where paint there so if the magnet stick that means it will stick when theres paint there? am i right?

@Bombardie8 Yes. It's an old school trick to see if there is body damage, and they used extensive bondo. After about 1/4" the magnet doesn't stick as hard. When I look at rides, I carry a magnet, in a cloth, to test panels.

@danbethel thats a great idea.. although if i were to look at a truck with bondo on it somwhere... and couldnt tell that its there i probably wouldnt care too much.. i cant stand when you see a nice truck or car online and it says theres nothing wrong with it, but when you go halfway across the state to look at it.. the whole damn body has bondo spots.. and its not good bondo jobs... but like they grabbed a ladle full of bundo and just smacked it on there.. if you know what i mean lol
