First try at this pairing. This is a mix of AU and the main story up to the end of the 4th movie and a little of the 5th. Song is "Who Knew" by Pink.
Plot (mainly the low-down for those who have any questions):
Ron and Hermione have had their arguments and fights but the truth is they are deeply in love with each other (DUR...we already know that right?...well, I still have to write this) But one of these arguments really upsets Hermione and while she seeks comfort (just comfort ^_^) and advice from Harry, Ron walks in and thinks she's kissing him. He feels completely betrayed and refuses to hear the explanation from Harry. He gets so depressed that he decides to try to drown himself in the lake. Harry rushes down to save him. Ron has visions of Hermione, wishing that he could be with her. Harry realizes that he must sacrifice himself to save Ron and drowns. Dumbledore, Hermione and Ron mourn at his funeral. And Ron struggles with guilt and depression. He decides to reconcile with Hermione and they start to date. In the end, the finally find peace and happiness with each other and say goodbye to the spirit of Harry.
