The Monsoon Cup is the season finale of the World Match Racing Tour where raw emotion boils over like no other event. There is both the Monsoon Cup and a new World Championship trophy at stake, and while five teams could still mathematically win the overall title, only one would eventually taste the ultimate glory. Every match was a potential Championship changer.
A stellar cast, featuring all nine Tour Card Holders was on show in Kuala Terengganu. At the front of the pack stood the three main performers of Ian Williams (GBR) Team GAC Pindar, Francesco Bruni (ITA) Bruni Racing and Torvar Mirsky (AUS) The Wave Muscat. Snapping at their heels and eager to throw them off their stride were four-time World Champion Peter Gilmour (AUS) YANMAR Racing and Bjorn Hansen (SWE) Mekonomen Sailing Team.
Who would crack under the pressure? Who had the mettle to battle through? We promise shock results, fierce head-to-head races with expert commentary throughout the best of the highlights from Malaysia.
Excellent coverage! Racing starts at 15:50
