Замечательно, что бы играть Шопена, нужно понимать его. Думаю, что Дьёрдю Цифре это удалось в полной мере. Поэтому и звучит все так естественно.

Cziffra's sound and mood in this impromptu is incredible!
I love Cziffra for his natural and effortless style, but sometimes miss a bit of commitment to conventional interpretation and strucutre. Here, however, i cannot imagine a more suitable approach.
the perfect conversion of true Chopin and personal interpretation.
its that a-ha moment, when you know: this is what the composer had imagined this piece to sound like ;)

I hadn't listened to this piece for a very long time (I haven't regarded it a very succeful composition for quite a long time) but this recording reveals some immense beauty of it again! It is really refreshing to hear such a peaceful and vivid playing!
