MILLENCOLIN - BRAND NEW GAME (2008) Album Machine 15

"Do you remember Fazil's friend?
Do you still live in the house of blend?
You told us story of his life about a fork and knife

He said when he was 22, he was mostly feeling blue
I wonder why, it's up to now, if it's change some how
Did he ever find his way to the greener side?
Or did he get's his dreams tonight?

I'm not the same, years has past
It's kind of scares me how it went so fast
It's a brand new game, life has past
And all I wanna was to make it last

Do you remember Fazil's friend?
He said you will be friends 'til the end
In a soft world, do you trust a guy who has lozin' must?

I think he get's his fingers cross
That he got I all across
I hope you found the missing link
Did he ever stop to think?

I'm not the same, years has past
It's kind of scares me how it went so fast
It's a brand new game, life has past
And all I wanna was to make it last

It's a brand new game and not quite what I thought
I can't remind the same but still achieve a lot

It's a brand new game and all our lives will past
With one foot stuck in the past, in the past
Ok I never make it last, make it last
It's all I wanted
I wanted it to last, wanted it to last

I'm not the same, years has past
It's kind of scares me how it went so fast
It's a brand new game, life has past
And all I wanna was to make it last, to make it last
It's all I wanted
Yeah I wanted it to last
Wanted it to last"

  • 8 sec in, does it mean Stockholm? In that case it's terribly wrong.

  • Stoccolma in italian language as capital of the Sweden but this geo map isn't good because Stockholm, in this case, is situated almost 200 km more South than normal (near Malmo) :) It's a joke :-)

  • @machlasIZO ahahahah sure :)....The original town of the Millencolin is Orebro, around 40 minutes by train from Stockholm :)

  • dude is that an Alaskan license plate at 10sec in?

  • i don't now sure! it can to be in Alaska!

  • @julaofucker Exactly. I don't think they told anyone who Fazil was in any of their songs.

  • @BlackDeath452

haha i got the same thought...

this song names a lot of millencoling song.. the melody sucks but the letter is very good..

if you are a really millencolin fan you will understand it.. they got older and start doing other types of song..

    but who is fazil?!

  • they r not even from "stockholm" they are from "örebro"

  • awesome song, love the nostalgic feel to it!

  • They named some songs in here... Fazil's Friend, House of Blend, Story of My Life, Twenty Two, Friend's Till the End, Softworld, Losin' Muzt, Fingers Crossed, and Stop To Think. I just felt like telling you all

  • I think it's because making the same music for years will get to you sooner or later. Remember that most GOOD music comes from feelings (anger, love, hate, depression, happines, etc. - at least that's how I see it). And you certainly don't hold the same feelings for years and years. When I started with music I was sad and depressed so I wrote balads. When I got in to the anger phaze I wrote really extream punk, and now I'm kinda average and out of inspiration actually :P. I like the whole album.

  • the best millencolin song by far since pennybridge pioneers!

  • swedish

  • @thaiisson Live* my life

  • @assi81912 Maybe it's because some bands have no problem playing the exact same stuff for 20+ years, and others like to experiment/evolve. I like punk as much as the next guy, but I can also appreciate when a band tries something new. Or at least new to them...
