  • Your remos gx Videos inspired me to get my PPL. I am well over half way to a check ride. Great Videos!!!

  • @pharmerzz .. Hey! that is just great , i am jealous!.. although the check-ride sounds a bit stressful everything else about training for a pilot's license is fantastic. So, you are half way through some of the best times of your flying-life. More to come for sure, but for now, ENJOY every minute of it!!

(.. waiting to see some footage of your flights) ; )

  • I saw this Aircraft crashed on the runway? Nose gear collapse at Scottsdale Arizona.

  • @MacBooker4444 .. well, i can tell you that, i was -not- flying it when that happened and also that it was a bad landing and that, apart from the nose gear, the rest of the frame took the hit rather well - nothing but the pride of the student pilot was hurt : ) .. i am extremely sad for the plane though. we now have an Evektor SportStar (unfortunately imo) 8'(

  • no mixture lever?

  • @capiluis Rotax carburetors mix fuel and air automatically, so no, there is no manual mixture lever.. some think that the resulting mixture is too rich, but as far i can tell it works fine. i have flown this plane from 1600 ft (ground level at KSDL) up to 10,000 ft (the limit for LSAs) and it worked fine - did not overheat on the way up and did not cool too much on the glide down. so, i personally like it, it is one less thing to worry about : )

  • @APrintezis Wow, that really sucks, The Remos was too damaged to fix?

  • @magnum7mm Hey, I am looking into private pilot training, How was NC Rotor and Wing? Price for training, teachers, etc.

  • @magnum7mm .. i see, do you also skydive there? looks like a great place - so green !!! $95 per hour "wet" sounds about right. P.S. totally agree about the headset, that's another 5 hours of flying!

  • I have been flying a NC rotor and wing in Louisburg, NC. If I'm not mistaken, you can rent a remos gx for around $100 an hour.(I could be wrong.....I know it is $95 an hour for the solo part of lessons). As far as headsets the Lightspeed Zulu headsets are super nice but I think I will stick with the DC's .... Besides I could use the extra $500 for flying the remos:). Thanks again. Maybe I will see you in the sky one day.
