Vespa KDX

This is the first kick of a Vespa PX 200, converted to have a Kawasaki KDX topend (which will eventually produce 35+Hp). This scooter is being built to race on a dry lake... this is only the start, a lot more work to come... but it is running... it is alive!

if its built for racing then why not use a moto cross cylinder not the low power kdx?

the kdx 200 only has about 29bhp.

@tpvalley I needed something that matched the Vespa crank stroke - there are not many that do. The KDX does and also has a big bore kit that can take it out to 240cc.

secondo me i cavalli ci sono pure daltronde stiamo parlando di un motore esasperato per arrivare ad un raffreddamento a liquido però ci sono 2 errori concettuali, il carburatore deve pescare aria ferma e aria in movimento...questo motore si sente che è chiuso è oppresso da una marmitta che non gli rende glistizia...un espansione potrebbe ovviare al problema...poi io dal rumore darei un' occhiata all' anticipo mi sembra un pò spento per essere un motore elaborato...c'è qualcosa che non và

cool, u may need a fuel pump as the bottom of tank is lower than carb.

come criticate tutti perché non fate una vespa senza difetti....magari appena accesa...

@ErMatto1990 you only need a small rad on these KDX conversion an no header tank either, on the lambretta GP block they are doing about 110mph quit easily, very very fast
