  • Better to be a banker and a friend of Geithner than an auto worker with few friends. Globalization sort of didn't work out very well.

  • Socialism, American style. Risks are socialized, profits privatized. The rich get bail-outs, the rest get squat. Why aren't the American workers considered "too big to fail? Is Obama anything other than simply another corporate lacky? He won't prosecute torture, enlarges and expands the wars, and fills his cabinet with corporate whores. We once had a republic, but no longer. The American people have been duped again.

  • union workers suck cock and make shitty products.

    Uneducated fucking retards...

  • The bondholders that are 'holding out' are observing the Constitution.

Makes you wonder who took the oath the uphold it.

Paulson and Bernanke strongarm the bank CEOs to screw over their shareholders and now this.

At least shred, burn and flush the Constitution so you would not longer be another in a line of hypocrits.

    It's a GD shame.....

  • UNfuck'N BELIEVEABLE

  • Nobody can convince me that the corporate

sh*tbags aren't using the economic crisis to

wipe out what little is left of the U.S. Unions.

  • [I think my original response was erased]. The word 'socialism' has a meaning, which is unchanged by its misuse by the Nazis. My def is pretty well-accepted; however, I never claimed that socialism works either on paper or in practice. Please read what I say before responding.

  • 2) It's too bad they are taking a pay cut, but we can't keep taking economic hits to preserve the failed Detroit model. And the "working men" of the UAW do NOT represent the average American - they are highly skilled, well paid workers whose livelihoods are threatened by global competition and regulation, not greedy investors.

  • You're kidding, right? UAW gets the privilege of taking yet another pay cut, with a bankrupt company to save, plus the future debt of health care. Meanwhile, the corp investors have made off with the gold. Now the working man gets to work harder for less money, just to pay off others debts, much like the average American is saddled with for the US' overdrawn revolving credit card. Austerity for the majority, but don't worry, the rich are still doing well enough, after crying crocodile tears.

  • Wealth is anti socializim no wealth no mid class. I will also point out just because time marches on and they reshape the words you use to define your insanity doesn't mean it is no longer insain. Hell your def of socializim is totaly wrong. Socializim on paper yes is wonderful but when you implement it you have so many giant holes where all the people at the top cheat. Socializim in all forms has failed over and over. Why do you think all socialist movements require civilians to be disarmed?
