1. Life, like a mist, appears for just a day,
Then disappears tomorrow.
All that we are can quickly fade away,
Replaced with tears and sorrow.
If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:

(CHORUS)

He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.

2. Friends of our God, though they may pass away,
Will never be forsaken.
All those asleep who in God's mem'ry stay,
From death he will awaken.
Then we'll come to see all that life can be:
Paradise eternally.

(CHORUS)

He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.

  • in this world we are freely to do anything we want, desired but we choose what is the Lord Jesus command in our lives. after we recieved him as personal saviour we must follow him, knowing him as Great God.

  • all things good are from God, bad is for devils will, sometime we religios people comitted sin and don't know where we near to but the Lord Jesus is only one friend who cannot see is our only saviour king and eternal Father that we can ask every thing.

    good for you!

JWs give Jehovah the right praise that he deserves, aswell as Jesus. And JWs do have a very close relationship with Jesus, because they pray through him, and celebrate the memorial, which is all about Jesus. These are just a few examples that Jesus is very important to JWs, so yeah! But everyone is entitled to their own opinion!

  • nagyon szépen énekelsz ezért kivánom hogy Jehova áldjon meg. seres

  • Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Where is Jesus in this song? It is Jesus who calls the dead forth and will resurrect them back to earth. They will hear his voice and come out of the gave, not Jehovahs. The scriptures are clear on this. This song fails to honour the son as we honour the Father. I feel sorry for JW's for how their leadership fails to give Jesus the rightful honour he is due and that JW's have no relationship with Jesus whatsoever.

  • Jehovah is a beautiful God.

  • This song makes me cry, because I truly believe in the resurrection and Jehovah's promise!
