What a nasty Lady Mac Glenda made. Bravo!
-
interesting that Plummer isn't looking down before Jackson's "only look up," perhaps that would be an obvious choice, but it would be a clear one, showing the thane's worrisome misgiving in high contrast with his lady's open optiimism; of course this was only a rehearsal, and one of a production that was not all that well received; this is not in any way to suggest that these are not two of the great actors and stars of our time.

I saw this production, second row - it was amazing and still stays with me

I THINK that was Glenda's final performance!!!

What a gem! And what would I give to see the play! The most charming Macbeth ever.

You make it sound as if she's dead! She is awsome though, I've was lucky enough to meet her a couple of years ago. Her grandchild is my cousin (although I'm not directly related to glenda, her ex husband is also my grandfather)
Really the interviewer should have known better than to name 'The Scottish Play'!
I would have killed to have seen this performance.
