@WCBguy1 last year i heard those teams had chances to win. same as this year. all i hear is Heat/Bulls eastern conference finals. this point in the season and the 13 other teams are already being forgotten. i do not see the competitive balance unless its top tier teams. all the stars of hte league want to team up together in big cities and leave the small markets with nothing in return. again i like basketball as a sport but the nba has ruined the competitive balance of the league

@MIXEDUPTHROWNTOGETHR how, right now any team can win the championship, Heat, Bulls, Thunder, have a decent chance of winning the NBA Championship and teams like San Antiono,Utah, or Denver can go to at least the Second Round or the Conference Championship. So now other teams are starting to win Championships or go deep into the playoffs. So the competitive balance is no more, so you have not watch the 2010-2011 or the 2011-2012 season if your saying we have a competitive balance in the NBA.

@WCBguy1 not saying o would stop watching it, but it proves my point that hte NBA has absolutely no competitive balance. its always has teams that completely dominate the sport and are always favs to win it all. saying that none have won consecutively also shows that no team has that grip on the league. i like basketball as a sport but i think the nba is ruining the competitiveness of the league.

@MIXEDUPTHROWNTOGETHR I do have to say this, I was wrong about the NJ thing but the thing is you would love the NHL because you love the sport and you like how every season is intense and interesting. not because of teams winning titles consecutively. So if the Burins won 3 championship in a row, you would stop watching it?

@MIXEDUPTHROWNTOGETHR I saw your message and here my response: Look, nobody really care about teams winning championship consecutivley, if that person was a real fan of the NBA he would keep watching the NBA. For example: If the Lakers won 5 or 6 championship in a row, a true NBA fan wuld keep watching but other people who are what I call bangwagons (which means betrayral) would stop watching it because of that reason. So I would not stop watching the NBA because teams won titles consecutively.

@rckn4ever NBA slipping? WRONG! You're clearly speaking from an EXETREMELY bias pro-hockey standpoint. In fact NBA is gaining. Last years finals were the most watched since 98'. CableTV statistics show a steady increase in regular season and playoff viewership over the last decade. Where are you getting these false notions from? I'd LOVE to see your sources on the NBA slipping because from what ive seen Basketball is slowly becoming the number 2 sport here replacing baseball. Provide sources!!
