Flowmaster muffler (thanks GTkyle), single-in dual-out with three inch tips straight out of the back. No cat, replaced it with a straight pipe. I think it sounds a little different but the camera is in the garage.... Truck now has 4" tips at a 45 out each side and a 2.5" leveling kit, toolbox, and whip.

  • wow, you spent the time to speed it up but didnt cut yourself out

  • @mxrace709 haha wow you spent the time to write that comment. what does it matter if im bored enough to make this exhaust video i can mess with the video editing software too

  • So it is basically straight piped from the manifold to the single muffler right? I'm getting an 01 and i'm wondering what I should do with the exhaust.

  • yezzir

  • Sounds VERY Good, But How do you not have the cat in? Does it thorw a code? is your engine check light on? Becuse I wanna take my out mine, but dont know if its goin to throw a code?

  • We just cut it off right in front and right at the back of it and welded in a single straight pipe. The check engine light did not come on and it runs perfect. But I have heard some people's trucks do throw codes and act up when they cut it off, so i'm not positive what it's going to do. I think you can buy some O2 simulators though to fix that..

  • @Ramsdal23 keep the cat and go with no muffers cheaper and sounds the same will have to post vid of mine to show

  • dude sounds fucking mean love it!!

  • that sounds exactly like mine...

i have the exact same setup as u but my trucks a 2002 with teh 360... flowmaster 40 with the cat after the Y pipe cut out and straight piped there...

    exact same sound

    i love it

  • mine sounds almost the same

  • i am thinking of gutting my cat on my dodge ram 1500 5.9 and just running a flowmaster 40 if my o2 sensor acts up how much do u think the dummy o2 sensors cost???

  • Sounds good. Right now i have the exhaust cut off right after the cat. I have the 5.2, Im getting the off-road y-pipe w/ no cats with the o2 bungs, then into a signle magnaflow. As long as you have the o2 sensor put where they're supposed to be youll be fine. For some trucks itll throw the CEL code, some it doesnt
