Cheap Homemade Grass Paintball Bunkers

Yep, you read correctly, this is a homemade paintball bunker made with grass. Just as air bunkers are filled with air, these grass bunkers are filled with grass. This was an idea for a cheap paintball bunker that actually turned out great. They pack tightly and let nothing through.

If you are into reusing paint then these bunkers are great. Most paint fired into them embed in them and do not break.

Also a great way to put grass clippings to good use, and are environmentally friendly... smell good too.

2/3rds of our homemade paintball field consisted of these cheap paintball bunkers.

Pallets are very easy to get. Most construction or similar businesses give away as many as you can take. They're just taking up space on their property.

@19TransAm80 We had a field that used both pallets and the types of bunkers in the vid. The thing is, which we experienced time after time, is that most construction companies will only give you a truck load of pallets (maybe 15 pallets in total), which isn't enough for a big field, so you usually have to visit a couple of places before you have enough, which is fine as long as you have a couple places to visit.

@lilreddagain hahaha i take it youve played on tire fields before... mosquito factories is pretty accurate. also, it's not a scenario style bunker- its a speedball "styled" one. its just to hide behind temporarily, not to entrench yourself in and survive mortar attacks. :p

A1.yes its good but you need to make the wire shorter or the mstuf inside fill to the top*it would be beter to hide behing and A2 yes its good as it would stop a paintball*but it may not stop a few 100 comming in the same spot*(wich hapens in speed ball!)
