Rupert Murdoch interviewed prior to taking over the News of the World.
Interesting points include his love of power, his claim that news proprietors have responsibility and the testimony that he sacks a lot of people. Of course his secretary is clear that he "suffered intensely with every staff severance he had to make". 200+ should be making him hurt then.

Most importantly Murdoch is very clear when talking about newspaper responsibilities that they can be a great power for evil.

  • When was it that Rupert Murdoch's face changed from a chubby cheeked frizzy haired bloke into the old wrinkled bald scrotum that people instantly recognise today?

  • @Tostig68 when you are building an empire you say that. when you've built it then you change.

  • I wish Someone does back in Time & Kill Murdoch in the Past.

  • Ah yes, back then, he wanted plenty of newspapers with plenty of organisations controlling them... And now, he is one of six conglomerates that run all the media in America.

  • @1980OCD Yeah his alright, he just bullshits on his channels, shows obvious propaganda, hacks dead peoples phones, hacks dead soldiers homes, bribes police officers, is the forefront of corruption and so on...

  • I really don't understand the hate for this man at all.

    Truly misunderstood.

  • "plenty of newspapers with plenty of different people controlling them so that there is a variety of viewpoint" - did he change his mind on that or was he just lying then?

  • Shify-eyed. And very scary, in retrospect.

  • @themenaceanish he really is a true american

  • Rupert Muroch hate his home country australia lmfao! He's now a true American.
