I'd say louder pipes most likely will drown that sound out

@dsgballer Actually most people prefer the sound of gear driven cams. Haven't you ever heard a muscle car with gear driven cams driving down the road??? But yea, some staggered slash cut Cobra pipes would drown most that out. That's what I have on my 2000 ACE.

can these VT750DC motorcycles sit at idle for a long time in lots of several consecutive stop light sections without overheating? Also, will the engine not overheat in very slow traffic, lasting hours, where are doesn't go through the radiator?

@Blakgun - Midway through the 2007 year, the DC was replaced with the C2. I can tell you that while the C2 has shaft drive, it sits lower than the DC and if you ask me, it is less comfortable. If you told me taht the shaft drive robs some power I also wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't recommend the C2 for anyone with a longer than 30" inseam. IMO Honda should've never gotten rid of the DC.

Very sweet and clean looking bike. I'm not crazy about the factory Honda sound, but it is easy to swap pipes.

Which model years of the Shadow have the chain versus shaft drive? When did they start the shaft drive production? Anyone know?
