Element Trailer - MMORPG made in Game Maker

Element is a unique MMORPG made in game maker. We're still in the process of beta testing and development, but it is coming along quite nicely. We have an active, friendly community. The game is totally free; no initial cost, no monthly fees, no "cash" required to buy any of the in-game items, Element is absolutely free. Enjoy the trailer. :)

The old Element website is down, and we do not plan to bring it back. This is because we are developing a new site for Element, as well as our other game projects. This subdomain is temporary; once we get enough traffic going we'll get a proper domain name. Until then, though, you can find info about Element and downloads on here:

The music was written by David K. Newton, most of the in-game battle music was written by him as well, you'll find his site here: http://wired.st-and.ac.uk/~wong/

@TheMechn With the number of things you're asking me to help with, I'd say you have little to no Game Maker experience whatsoever. (I'd basically be making the game for you, which I'm not going to do.) You should learn the Game Maker scripting language for yourself; I think you will find it far more gratifying when things finally work. :)

Sorry about that, our lousy host decided to do maintenance on our payment system around the same time our payment was due, so until they finish that, we can't pay. Don't give up on us, we'll get it up and running again when we can.

Because it wasn't made in flash or java. Seriously, you're technically downloading flash games when you play them too, they're just embedded in the page and don't ask you where to save them. Also, could you elaborate on what makes it low quality? It's still in beta, and we're working to improve it. We're also a very small team of unpaid developers who have school and jobs and lives to worry about, and can't spend 10 hours a day making the game look like Crysis and have OVER 9000 skills.

I like those styles of graphics. :D Can you make an engine?.. {Ok, I know thats greedy and most likely other people would just steal it, but I wanna sample and test it. I'l change up most things, o'most ALL sprites, I'l keep the online and platform part, I'l make a defrent story line, I wont lie, I will keep the battle system and growing thing... Do you blame me for wanting this engine?...}
